What is After the Fall?
After the Fall is a co-op virtual reality game that will take players to an alternate, post-apocalyptic 1980's version of Los Angeles. In the game, humanity is on the brink of extinction after a designer drug led to the rise of the zombies called Snowbreeds. Only a handful of humans remain. These individuals appear to be immune to the drugs. With this, they represent the last hope for humanity.
You will play as one of the remaining bastions against the Snowbreeds. Your goal is to leave the icy ruin of the city and look for a better place. To do so, you will face hordes of the undead, specials, and larger-than-life bosses. The game will arm you with an array of gears that enables you to customize your play style. You can use blades, explosive bullets, and other melee weapons.
As mentioned, the game is a multiplayer first-person zombie shooter. With this, you can complete your mission with other players' help. There is a central hub where you can recruit party members or hang out and form connections. If you don't like to socialize, you can forgo this aspect and strike out alone. The game will be scaled to accommodate the added difficulty of going solo.
